P. Odenweller, RDP, member of the AIEP since 1980 and Vice-President until
2012 received on 10 May 2013 at the General Meeting in Verona the Hunziker
Medal, the highest award of the A.I.E.P.
The Hunziker Medal is awarded for furtherance of expertisation in
philately.

Prof. Mamoru SAWA passed away
Our member Professor Mamoru SAWA died on 25 December 2012.
He was a member of the A.I.E.P. since 2005.
Prof. Sawa was a wellknown expert on Japan, postage stamps and postal history 1872 - 1912.
